Actors Audition in a Paid Project
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking actors for upcoming project. More details are below. Rate: Paid. Compensation will be discussed with shortlisted candidates. Non-Union. Travel compensation may be considered within reason. Additional information: Some roles demand more than just acting—they demand ownership. Your role is 90 seconds of pure, raw performance in a film under 2 minutes and 30 seconds. No filler, no wasted frames—every second counts. What This Role Demands: Start cold, detached, almost numb—holding something back. Let frustration simmer, build, and finally erupt into raw, volcanic rage. Break down into complete vulnerability—utterly exposed, on the edge of tears This role is physically demanding—expect grabbing, dragging, and even self-inflicted actions. If that makes you hesitate, this isn’t for you. Filming takes place in Toronto. Open to Canadians only. Preferably from Ontario or nearby provinces. Submissions from outside Canada will not be considered. Please, see the attachments. When applying, please submit a short demo/self-tape showing emotional range. If you don’t have a demo, use one of these two test scripts for your audition. Perform, record, and send it in.

(Age is flexible if the presence and performance are right) Native English speaker—it needs to feel natural and lived-in. Preferably white, but ultimately, the right presence, intensity, and depth matter most. Someone who owns every second on screen with absolute authenticity.
Not Hollywood-polished—real, natural, grounded. but ultimately, the right presence and chemistry with the lead actor matter most. If you look the part and fit the role, that’s what counts. She is not aggressive, not dominant. She is vulnerable, emotional, kind—but this is the moment she stops following and holds her ground. MUST be a native English speaker. It needs to feel natural, lived-in.
