ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Directors are currently in need of cast and extras for "Suck" film. More details are below. About the project: SUCK is the latest passion project from indie writer/director Ty Javos, blending horror, comedy, and the all-too-relatable agony of modern dating. The story follows Mia, a hopeless romantic with a habit of diving headfirst into toxic relationships. This time, her friends have had enough. Determined to save her from yet another emotionally unavailable scumbag, they gear up for an intervention. But there’s one small problem… Mia’s new man isn’t just a walking red flag—he’s a centuries-old vampire with an ego bigger than his fangs. As reality (and blood) gets sucked out of the situation, Mia’s friends must decide: Do they risk everything to pull her out of this deadly situationship, or let her get ghosted—permanently? With its sharp humour, biting social commentary, and plenty of blood-soaked chaos, SUCK puts a fresh, fanged twist on the horrors of modern romance. Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer Project. 5 roles
(SUPPORTING) Mia’s best friend and the designated voice of reason in her chaotic love life. Pragmatic, fiercely loyal, and armed with a razor-sharp wit, Claire has seen Mia fall for one walking red flag after another—and she’s not about to let it happen again. Sarcastic but never cruel, she masks her genuine concern with biting humor. Whether it’s calling out nonsense or hatching a rescue plan, Claire is always two steps ahead—she just never expected to go up against an actual bloodsucker.
(SUPPORTING) The popular hot mess of the group—chaotic, confident, and always the centre of attention. But beneath the theatrics and bottomless mimosas, she’s also the most intuitive and fiercely protective of Mia. Katya has a sixth sense for bad decisions (probably because she’s made most of them herself), and she’s not about to let Mia get sucked into another disaster—especially one with actual fangs.
(SUPPORTING) The ultimate gay best friend—flamboyant, quick-witted, and always serving looks and brutal honesty. Adam thrives on drama (as long as he’s not the one dealing with it) and has perfected the art of delivering cutting one-liners with a cocktail in hand. He fully supports Mia’s right to make bad choices, but even he draws the line at dating a vampire.
(ACTOR) The unexpected star of karaoke night at the pub. With a voice that could wake the dead (literally), the Viking Singer channels epic power ballads like it’s their birthright. Clad in casual leather and a surprising amount of charisma, they deliver performances that leave the crowd in awe—but with zero ego. They’re the kind of person who’ll humblebrag about their vocal chops, but never turn down a pint or a chat.
A lively and eclectic mix of pub-goers, café regulars, and casual night owls, all wrapped up in the energetic chaos of a bustling local haunt. From the group of college friends debating their latest dating disasters to the quiet corner booth where someone’s definitely eavesdropping, these patrons provide the perfect backdrop to the unfolding drama.
