About the project: Log-line: A therapist living an ordinary life kidnapped by mafia turns to dealing with criminal world to survive the situation. Sophia Miller, a well accomplished therapist is living a simple life in Toronto. One day, Sophia has a session with her returning patient Jhones. Jhones is forcefully hired to assist in disposing of dead bodies for the criminal organization. During the session Jhones wants to relieve some of his guilt and stress of his work, but because of the illegal nature of his occupation he disguises it as merely feeling guilt working as a butcher. While leaving his therapy session, Jhones is approached by members of the criminal organization who have growing suspicious of him leaking information. As a result, Jhones is interrogated and accidentally killed. Fearing that the criminal organization is compromised, they kidnap Sophia to find out what she knows. In an attempt to ensure her survival, she agrees to leak confidential client information that is valuable to the organization, specifically a file to be used as blackmail on a powerful government official. Leading role. Sophia is a 32 year old therapist. She is well organized, well accomplished. She is a single mother with a 6 year old daughter. She struggles being present in her daughter's life.
Supporting role. Jhones is a 27 years old, unwillingly working for the criminal organization for disposing of dead bodies. He suffers from night terrors and feels guilt from his work.
Supporting role. Mason is a 40 year old burly member of the criminal organization. He is a very well respected trusted member of the group with a hunger for power.
Supporting role. Jenna is Sophia's long-time friend. She has been a constant presence in Sophia's life, offering support and understanding through various challenges.
