About the project: Synopsis: Nick never understood his mother’s deep connection to the tree in their backyard, but as he’s grown older, he begins to understand the meaning that it holds, more than he ever imagined. This is a emotional and dramatic story that will tug at your heart strings. Rate: At this time the project is unpaid. Gas reimbursement. Copy of film for demo, IMDB credit and meals provided. Additional info: Looking for SAG and non union actors as this will be a Sag micro budget film. Shooting will take place from late March to December, primarily on weekends with a flexible schedule. Filming will not occur every weekend—typically one to two weekends per month or less, depending on availability. This is being done as the director wants to show the different seasons throughout the film. (Think the movie Boyhood but without taking 12 years to film.) See the flyer attached.
