About the project: In this gritty reimagining of the classic fairy tale, Red is the captain of the militia in charge of keeping out the wildlings who live beyond the wall. When such a wildling turns up, he is not what she or anyone else expected. Rate: $100 stipend available for all roles. Additional info: Callbacks will be in Schaumburg, IL on March 15. (Note that some announcements may have read March 8, March 15 is the correct date) Sunday - Thursday rehearsals start April 28th in Schaumburg, IL. Performances run from June 13 to June 22 Depending on cast availability, sporadic workshop rehearsals will be held starting in late March/early April. Mezzo-Soprano Fierce with a bit of a whimsy. She is a natural leader trying earnestly to live up to the legacy of her famous parents. Privately, she questions the purpose of her mission.
Tenor. Kindhearted and Genuine. He has never quite fit in, no matter where he is. He wants to explore and live in peace.
A strong and capable soldier. He will do what it takes to fulfill his mission.
After the death of her daughter, she raised Red as her own. She is fiercely protective.
A minstrel, telling the story, observing and occasionally entering the scene. Potentially plays guitar on stage.
