About the project: The Sherlock Quandary, or The Consulting Detective… and Me" is a mystery play set in post-war 1947 London. It follows Kate Delaney, a struggling private detective living in the shadow of her late father's legacy, as she attempts to solve a high-profile jewel heist while also investigating the mysterious disappearance of a schoolteacher. The story intertwines reality with fictional Sherlock Holmes radio dramas, reflecting Kate’s struggle to prove her worth as a detective and find her place in a changing world. Rate: All roles are available. Non-equity only. Actors will receive a small stipend ($60) and 2 comp tickets. Additional info: Auditioners will be seen in groups of 4 and asked to read sides from the script, which will be emailed in advance. No monologue required. Rehearsals will begin in April. Show dates: June 6-8 & 12-14, 2025 Please come prepared to share a list of your conflicts in April and May. The rehearsal schedule will be set after casting is completed. Please apply if interested.
