About the project: In a small rural Texas town, three teenagers from vastly different family dynamics face the universal antagonist of addiction. Their struggles with identity, belonging, and substance abuse will force them to make choices that could lead to redemption or destroy their futures. Additional info: This film will be cast virtually only. A non-union production. No travel or lodging is provided. You must be available for all filming dates TBA. (Supporting Role) A quiet, fearful mother trapped in an abusive marriage. She wants to protect Ricky but is too emotionally broken to take a stand.
(Supporting Role) A local truck driver and meth dealer, abusive and controlling. He's a key antagonist, contributing to his son Ricky's emotional and physical struggles.
(Supporting Role) A seasoned flight attendant who loves her family but is constantly away, leaving her son Alex feeling neglected.
(Supporting Role) (Mexican or Mexican-American) A hardworking single mother who immigrated for a better life. She's a strict, loving parent who is constantly torn between providing and trying to keep her rebellious daughter in check.
