About the project: Logline: An aspiring young actress battles familial pressure, an ex's unwelcome reappearance, and sacrifices her chance for a breakthrough role during a Nowruz celebration. "Nowruz" explores Persian collectivist tradition versus individualistic, personal dreams. Additional information: Non union. Location: Toronto/GTA. Shooting Dates: Mid-Late March. 3 days.
