About the project: Synopsis: Polaroid is a lighthearted, feel-good story about two best friends, Skylar and Myla, who take it upon themselves to bring their single parents together. Through a mix of playful scheming and heartfelt moments—captured through Skylar’s beloved Polaroid camera—the girls set the stage for their parents to find happiness again. Rate: Unpaid – this is a student production with no budget for compensation, but directors will provide meals and a great on-set experience. Food provided: craft services and lunch. Additional info: Directors are planning table read callbacks within the next week or two. As Skylar and Myla set their plan in motion, Dylan finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Skylar’s mom, Chelsea. With his daughter’s encouragement, he chooses to stay in the past or embrace a new beginning.
