Casting Performers for "Our Ladies of Sorrow" Play
The company is holding auditions for "Our Ladies of Sorrow " Play and looking for performers, please see the details below ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: What happens when a story ends, before we begin to tell it again? OUR LADIES OF SORROW finds Shakespeare’s young tragic heroines outside the action of their respective plays, asking if it’s possible to break free of the cycles of trauma and tragedy. Witness them as they process their trauma, discuss their feelings about other characters and the Bard himself, and reflect upon their own legacies. In turn, each young woman gets a chance to voice that which Shakespeare never allowed them to, while finding comfort and community in each other, before they are made to re-enter their plays and live it all again.
