He joined the Soviet Army right out high school, he is a true patriot for the Soviet State, and fell quickly to its propaganda. He has a reporter little brother, Victor, who he loves dearly, but does find disappointment in his career choice. Sergei has seen much combat, but it doesn’t bother him at all, he would do anything to protect his mother land.
A naïve young reporter in the Soviet Union, his brother is Sergei a Soviet soldier. Victor is a stranger to war, and does not understand its complexities, he also does not hesitate to question authority. Victor carries his camera everywhere he goes, he feels almost like a tourist in the war torn country.
A war torn KGB agent who would not crack under even the most brutal pressure. He runs the place without even having to speak, as his reputation as a terrifying leader proceeds him.
Soviet army pilot who has seen the full invasion and all its truths, but is too afraid to say it. The war takes a toll on his appearance, he has seen things that one wishes not to talk about.
Soviet army infantry man who got injured in the initial invasion of Afghanistan, he is fully committed to the war effort, he is just another soldier from the line.
