Character Description: Gary Baker Hall is the epitome of Broadway's golden age, a once-in-a-generation star whose overwhelming narcissism and inflated ego have taken him to the top. He walks through life with the undeniable confidence that he's better than everyone else.

(Understudy): Edward Cooper is the classic “right-hand man” to Gary Baker Hall, but with a twist. He’s the selected understudy, Gary's go-to guy, and although a (less established) actor, he really isn't putting the work into this one. This is just hanging backstage with his best-friend to put it simply.

Supporting. Tilda is a sharp, pragmatic, and experienced theater producer or manager with a no-nonsense attitude. She’s deeply invested in the production and has seen enough disasters to know when something feels off. Though she trusts Daniel to a degree, she remains skeptical and always questions decisions that could jeopardize the show. Tilda is professional but not without emotion—she deeply cares about the success of the play and the reputation of those involved.

(Stage Manager): Lead. A seasoned Broadway director/producer, Daniel is confident, ambitious, and deeply invested in his work. He has an authoritative presence but also exudes charm and a sharp wit. Passionate about the success of his productions, he is high-strung and meticulous, often putting immense pressure on his actors. While he may seem supportive, his patience has limits, and he does not tolerate incompetence, although he features a fair amount of his own.
