"Strange Bedfellows" New Musical in Search of Cast
"Strange Bedfellows" a new musical needs actors. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: "It’s the premiere production of an original musical by local writer-musician, Bill Rowland! The story is set shortly before a presidential election, with reporters desperate to find some hint of a scandal, as there is little happening in the way of political intrigue or backstabbing. But don’t worry… things won’t stay that way for long. Dirty tricks by the conniving wife of the inept V.P., the revival of a youthful romance between two candidates and a “birther” controversy add to the silliness with great music along the way!" Additional info: Auditions will consist of a short singing audition (song of your choice; please bring your own sheet music and tracks if you desire) followed by readings from the script. Also, please bring resume and headshot (if you have one). Ages are suggested and may be adjusted. NOTE: Four actors are also ensemble members in some scenes, as follows: MARIA-ENS#1, ALLISON-ENS#2, STOUT-ENS#3, STRONG-ENS#4. Show dates: June 6-29 Fri and Sat at 7:30 pm, Sun at 2 pm If you are interested, please apply.
