Acting Audition in "It's Okay" Film

About the project: Logline: On the brink of night, Sam tries to phone Lara, his daughter. Moments after his house is broken into, an emotional conflict with an intruder ensues. Rate: Non-union student film. Compensation will be provided in the form of: Catering (meals on set), credits and full copy of the short. Additional information: Genre: Thriller, Drama. Shooting Location: Whitby, Ontario. Shooting days: March 14, 15 and 16. Rehearsal days: One day between March 3 and March 9, depending on actors availability. If you're interested, please apply.

Lead. He only cries while watching kids’ movies, he is practical not emotional. He loves his daughter with all his heart, but he struggles to communicate this love, honestly, he struggles to communicate most of his emotions.
Supporting role. Sam’s daughter. Like her dad she is very intelligent, but in comparison she knows it. She takes pride in always “having her shit together” until, well… she got addicted to drugs. Now she is getting better or that’s at least what Sam thinks. She loves her dad but knows that it’s always going to be hard for them to be in the same room.
