Performers Needed for "Faye’s Room" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of performers for production of "Faye’s Room". More details are below. About the project: Faye’s Room is the story of Faye Buckley, an autistic lesbian who works at a queer cafe… and happens to have the power to summon and hide in a magical sensory room at will. When she becomes trapped in this room with her least favourite co-worker, son of the founder and token heterosexual Chase McLure, an unlikely bond forms, and the two find themselves with a bit more in common than they’d thought. Faye’s Room is about neurodivergent solidarity, intergenerational bonds, and internalized ableism. Additional information: Audition Location: Vancouver, BC. You MUST be available for at least a one-hour slot on both days, otherwise you may be asked to send a self tape. Deadline to Submit: February 28, 2025. If you're interested, please apply.
