Casting Call for Musical "Kinky Boots"

Looking for performers for May 2025 production of "Kinky Boots". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. Additional info: All auditionees are asked to prepare the following: - 32 bars of their best modern musical theatre or pop/rock music selection. Please bring your sheet music in the correct key in a notebook or published book for the accompanist. The creative team is happy to hear songs from the show, especially for those who would like to be considered for a specific role(s). - There will be a mandatory short dance audition for all auditionees, as well as an additional dance audition for those auditioning as an Angel/featured dancer. Those wishing to be considered as an Angel should consider wearing heels to the dance call. Dance audition video links will be sent one week prior to auditions to all those who sign up. If you have one available, please bring a copy of your headshot and resume. Some performers may be asked to a call-back on Wednesday March 12th between 7:00 PM and 10:30 PM. Rehearsal dates: March 20th (or there abouts) to May 3rd typically 2-3 weekday evenings and one weekend day. (directors are hoping to lock in a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday evenings and Saturday day schedule until April 26th and then a more dedicated rehearsal schedule leading up to the show based on cast availability.) More rehearsal days will be required as the production opening approaches. Performers must be available every evening of tech week starting April 28th, no exceptions.
