Looking for talented actors and extras to bring the characters to life in "Paperclips", a thrilling short film about ambition, betrayal, and the high-stakes world of game development. More detais are below. About the project: Zach, John, and Sam have spent years developing a game—until their boss delivers shocking news: the game has been leaked. Now, they must uncover the traitor or face losing everything. As tensions rise, true personalities emerge… "Paperclips" is a story about three game developers, Zach, John and Sam, who have been working on a game for a long time, only to have their friendship put to the test when their boss William, lays the news on them that the game has been leaked, they have to find out who leaked the game, or else they will all be fired. Slowly, each one of them reveals their true colours. Jeff is narcissistic, John cares too much for his family to the point where he's neglecting his job, and Sam is an intern who says things faster than she can think, and only started her job not long ago. Lead. Masc Presenting. Zach is a narcissistic, coding genius who believes that his Al program that he's developing for a game will revolutionize the industry. Brilliant but insufferable, he refuses to admit mistakes. He often pushes tasks like doing invoices to other people, as he thinks they're below his pay grade, and while his arrogance frustrates colleagues-especially Sam-there's no denying his groundbreaking talent.
Supporting lead. Masc Presenting. John is a serious, dedicated office worker who goes above and beyond to ensure everything is in order. But lately his dedication for his family drives him to prioritize them above all else, frequently pushing his tasks onto others to leave work early. Though his devotion to his family is admirable, it often leaves his coworkers, like Sam and Jeff, to pick up the slack.
Supporting lead. Femme Presenting. Sam is an energetic, Gen Z gamer with a sharp mind but with little interest in traditional work expectations. She can easily do her work, but she treats her job like a side quest, often distracted by gaming and memes. John and Jeff have tried to pile on more work, but Sam only does things on her own terms.
