"Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses" Play Needs Performers

Newly inherited owner of the Hotel. She is efficient, resourceful, smart and practical. A loving and doting niece to Uncle Bubba. She quickly learns that this hotel does not run like any other businesses with which she has been involved.

A local girl, who is working so she can put herself through college. She enjoys her job; her good natured and quirky personality always shines through to cover her inadequacies. Candy’s innate, innocent ability to make a mess of things causes many comedic visual sequences.

Rough around the edges but has a heart of gold. The maintenance and operations manager of the hotel for many years. When Madame CoCo, the wedding planner goes AWOL, he is coerced into playing her role. A series of quick changes ensue to play the “eccentric” Madame CoCo.

She has a superior attitude and she is used to dominating those around her. She likes things done HER WAY. She is more concerned about her future son in laws family background and ancestry than anything else about him. As the play progresses she adapts to the casual lifestyle of the Lovers’ Landing and ironically finds herself attracted to Bubba.

She is marrying Peter, whom she has known for only a short time, despite the fact her mother finds him totally unsuitable. She first appears to as a self-centered, pampered rich girl but as she discovers what she thinks is her fiancés apparent infidelity, she becomes a strong-minded woman, determined to discover the truth.

He is found suspiciously taking photographs of the hotel and asking awkward questions of the locals in the town. Bubba believes him to be a government agent spying on his “activities” Audrina agrees to help her uncle to discover who he is, but in doing so begins to fall in love with him. He is then quickly mistaken for Traci’s fiancé. Confusion reigns.

Traci’s fiancé arrives and despite his rocky relationship with his future mother-in-law, he is looking forward in spending time with his lovely bride to be. Alas, he never gets a chance. One event after another, created accidentally by Candy, leaves Peter in compromising positions. Beatrice and Traci, believing him he has “strayed” purposely render him unconscious. Despite the on again-off again wedding, Peter continues to try to convince Traci of his love.
