ASHWINMale22-28 y.o.All ethnicities

Lead. Tamil. Ashwin is disciplined, ambitious, and stubborn. He moved to Canada with a clear plan: hard, stay focused, and succeed. But financial instability forced him to delay school and take on grueling factory shifts. Refusing to fall behind, he doubles his workload and shares his single-room rent through "sleep shifts" with a stranger, Now, on the brink of exhaustion, he fights to stick to his plan-no matter the cost.

MARKOMale25-30 y.o.White / Caucasian

Supporting. Eastern European. Marko refuses to live under anycine's control. Originally from Eastern Ukraine, he came to Canada on vacation in early 2022, only to be stranded after the invasion of his home country. A soured living arrangement left him homeless until he was introduced to Ashwin, who offered a shared room under strict "sleep shifts." Reluctant at first, Marko took the deal-half the rent for most of the space.

BALRAJMale20-24 y.o.Indian/South Asian

Supporting. Punjabi. Balraj has been Ashwin's roommate since they moved to Canada, but unlike Ashwin, he doesn't believe success is something you can force. More passive and detached, he watches Ashwin's struggles with quiet concern but rarely intervenes, His laid-back nature led him to introduce Marko solution to Ashwin's financial woes-unknowingly setting off a chain of tensions he'd rather stay out of.
