Theater Casting Call for "The Girl With No Hands" Play

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Currently seeking an actress for "The Girl With No Hands" play. More details are below. About the play: A darkly comic but uplifting fantasy, this is the story of a traumatized girl with no hands who is on the verge of suicide. She is lured into a play within the play with the promise that she’ll be a heroine, save a kingdom, and find her heart’s desire. Once there, her life is beset by a series of complications from the realm’s fantastical, comedic and sinister inhabitants! Pay Rate: CAEA F-House Additional information: The play will be performed in half-masks, mixing physical theatre and text. Mask and physical theatre experience are assets but training in these skills is provided. Call-backs: February 14, 2025. CONTRACT DATES: Online Script Workshop: April 7-8, 2025. Location: Zoom.
