"Fairytale" Short Student Movie Seeking Cast
Actors needed for "Fairytale" short film. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the roles below. About the project: SYNOPSIS: Maria storms off into the forest after a heated argument with her mother. As she walks, she discovers a peculiar object, which leads her to a woman who frequently visits the woods. They sit down to talk, and unexpectedly, the woman presents Maria with a proposal. Later, Maria finds herself regretting the small choices she made. Rate: This is a great opportunity for actors to enhance their film experience and build their portfolio. Protagonist: (18). Maria is unaware of the impact her words can have, and as the narrative unfolds, she begins to regret what she initially perceived as minor actions. Grunge style, tomboyish, and slightly rebellious. Needed for locations 1 and 2.
Supporting character: (40). In need of someone who looks older than Maria. Mom treats Maria as if she's still her baby. She does not like the fact that Maria goes out with friends and comes off as controlling. Mom often appears tired from working long hours, and this is evident when you look at her face. Needed for Location 1.
Antaganist: (50). Lady serves as the fantasy element within our narrative. She is manipulative. Needed for Location 2.
