“Until Next Time” Junior Thesis Film Needs Actors

About the project: Synopsis- After the death of his fiance Cara, Wyatt, an emotionally explosive young man, struggles to cope with his grief and growing resentment for his reserved friend and roommate Matt, who’s struggling with demons of his own. While Wyatt wallows in his self-loathing at the burial, he is approached by the cryptic Mysterious Man. Who offers him friendship and a chance to bring Cara back through a ritual. As tensions between Wyatt and Matt escalate his knowledge of the ritual expands. Wyatt learns the dark cost of what the ritual entails… Rate: Non paid (lunch and crafty included, credited in the final film, the film will do a festival circuit, will have full access to media once post-production ends) Additional info: 2 filming days: March 7th and 8th. Lead. A passive-aggressive, explosive, emotionally unstable, angry, resentful, guilty, sorrowful, self-loathing, uncomfortable with self. Wyatt is a long-term friend and roommate to Matt, he and Cara are lovers and were engaged before her passing, The Mysterious Man is a stranger to him, but someone who holds much wisdom and temptation, no relationship with Aeshma. Wyatt wallows in his grief, feeling that his time with Cara was unfairly taken away from him.
Antagonist. Mysterious, cryptic, powerful, influential, coordinated, calculated, & manipulative. The Mysterious Man is a stranger to Wyatt although a soundboard for advice later on, he has no relationship with Matt or Cara, The Mysterious Man is a loyal servant & worshiper to Aeshma The Demon of Wrath who is shown at the end of the film. The Mysterious Man sees Wyatt as “The Perfect Vessel”. He is an agent for Aeshma and seeks a weak soul to bring him into limbo so he can possess a human vessel.
Supporting. A passive person, survivor, avoidant, accommodating, fearful, helpless, guilty. Matt is a long-term friend and roommate to Wyatt, Matt and Cara are close friends, and although depicted on the surface as a platonic friendship behind closed doors Matt’s relationship with Cara is much more complicated. Matt has no relationship with The Mysterious Man or Aeshma. Matt feels intense guilt and shame for having not prevented Cara’s death, expressing traits of Survivor’s Guilt.
