About the project: A young man unable to find employment to pay the bills, finds himself having to work in the death industry as a dead body transporter as a last resort. His mental health deteriorates as he quickly comes to learn that this line of work isn’t for everyone Rate: Non union. Volunteer production. Demo reel footage from the shoot and on set meals provided. Additional information: SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S) May (No set dates locked in yet). 1-2 days of shooting. A young man who is only two weeks into his job as a dead body transporter. He is disturbed by the nature of his work and is especially concerned with how his co-workers are able to normalize the day to day grind of the job.
Kyle’s co-worker. An older man who has been a dead body transporter for decades. He is used to the nature of the job and nothing fazes him. He’s so comfortable at his job that he sometimes cracks inappropriate jokes around relatives of the deceased
Kyle’s father. He isn’t supportive of Kyle’s job and looks down on him for not being able to find more respectable work. He also is becoming erratic after his mother (Kyle’s grandma) entered a coma.
Kyle’s stepmother. She has been having arguments with Nickolas over the rising costs of his mother’s medical bills. She believes it might just be best to let her pass on rather than “artificially” keeping her alive.
Kyle's grandmother who has been in a coma for the better part of a year. Non-speaking role.
