"Wait Until Dark" Stage Play Looking for Cast

About the project: BRIEF SYNOPSIS: Forty-seven years after WAIT UNTIL DARK premiered on Broadway, Jeffrey Hatcher has adapted Frederick Knott’s 1966 original, giving it a new setting. In 1944 Greenwich Village, Susan Hendrix, a blind yet capable woman, is imperiled in her own apartment by con men. As the climax builds, Susan discovers that her blindness just might be the key to her escape, but she and her tormentors must wait until dark to play out this classic thriller’s chilling conclusion. Additional info: The Director will hold open auditions on the aforementioned days. She prefers that everyone show up and be ready to audition by the start time, and if possible, stay throughout the entire audition session so you can read with multiple actors. Please feel free to attend both audition sessions if you would like to read with different actors each day. If you are unable to stay for the entire session, do not let that deter you from coming to auditions. Director will make it work. Please bring your headshot and resume to the audition. If you do not have a resume or headshot, no worries, you can fill out an audition form and show your amazing face on the day of the audition. Auditions will consist of reading provided sides for each character. Audition for as many characters as you would like. The director will have you read with other actors.
