About the project: "Amen-ities Included" is a comedy about Zechariah, a skeptical atheist and financially struggling student, who turns to a roommate-finding website in order to help pay his rent. Enter Jesús, a mysterious man who has an uncanny resemblance to the biblical Jesus. Strange events unfold as Jesús moves in, including water turning into wine and the arrival of 12 robed "disciples." As Zech pieces together evidence that his roommate might actually be the Messiah, his doubt transforms into belief after a life changing event. Rate: Actra/Non-Union. Principal role. Lead. Zech is a broke, control freak college kid who has to find someone to live with. He spends his freetime up late at night on the phone with his friend Ali, while they both complain about the annoyances of life. Zech grew up atheist and is very close minded when it comes to faith/religion.
Principal role. Supporting Lead. (Long hair + beard is a bonus). Jesús is a carefree spirit with an uncanny resemblance to Jesus. He walks and talks like a hippie and assumes that everyone around him has the same attitude.
Supporting. Zech's friend who works a retail job which he despises. Neglectful and dismissive of Zech's issues, Ali is just too busy being focused on his own goals.
Supporting. "Skater" look.
