About the play: "Strings Attached" is an emotional one-act play that explores mental anguish and the extreme lengths one will go to rid oneself of this inner torment. The play follows a young woman’s journey from the carefree joy of youth to the sudden descent into darkness, told through her relationship with the second character—an embodiment of her complex mind. Rate: This is a volunteer position. Yet it is a great chance to showcase your range as an actor and raise awareness about important topics surrounding mental health. Additional information: Performance Dates: between June 12-22, 2025 for the Ottawa Fringe Festival. Rehearsals: Rehearsals will all be based on your availability and schedule.
