Singing Audition for "Pair of Guys Lost" Play

St. Albert, AB, Canada
ID: 278308Exp: 3/1/2025
Description:

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of singers for "Pair of Guys Lost" Play. More details are below. About the Show: Pair of Guys Lost: A New Musical is an original satirical comedy musical featuring a brand-new electropop score of all original songs. A sharp-witted and hilarious reimagining of The Book of Genesis and John Milton’s Paradise Lost, this satirical musical infuses creation with biting humor, a queer twist, and an infectious original score. A self-proclaimed “most stable genius” of a God accidentally creates two men instead of the male-female pair he intended—then insists it was the greatest, most tremendous creation ever, with no mistakes. But as the two explore their world, cracks begin to show—contradictions pile up, logic unravels, and they wonder if their absent, insecure, vengeful creator is genuinely worthy of worship. Along their journey, they encounter a wise and insightful snake—a figure who sees through illusion and offers them a new way of thinking. The snake becomes their unexpected guide, encouraging them to think critically about their reality, question the stories they've been fed, and seek their own understanding of the world. Meanwhile, a trio of mischievous angels serve as the show’s ever-present narrators, chiming in with sharp-witted commentary and playful banter. They weave in and out of the story, reacting to the action with humor, attitude, and a knowing wink to the audience.
