Singing and Dancing Opportunities in Production of "Cabaret"

About the project: Set in the decadent days of the Weimar Republic, this iconic musical follows the lives of Sally Bowles, a free-spirited cabaret singer, and Clifford Bradshaw, an American writer, as they navigate the thrilling and dangerous world around them. Blending glamour with grit, Cabaret explores love, identity, and the price of freedom against a backdrop of political tension. Rate: $5000 for the project, inclusive of rehearsal and performances. Additional information: Dance Call: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (mandatory for Cabaret Dancers). Individual Auditions: 1:30 PM onward (by invitation). Rehearsals: In person in Toronto from February 10 – March 9. (4 part-time weeks, with tech rehearsal starting March 10, leading into the opening on March 14. Rehearsal schedule will be slightly flexible based on availability, but will generally take place Wed-Sun. Performance Dates: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in Toronto from March 14 – April 27 (No performances Easter week). Performances are approximately 2 hours 45 minutes. Vaccine Requirement: Directors require all performers and crew to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to participate in this production. Submit by Wednesday Feb 5.
