LEAD ROLE. INUK. MUST BE OF INUK (INDIGENOUS). Sesi Ilupaalik carries the weight of a difficult past. After losing her father as a child and enduring years in foster care, she has emerged spirited, irreverent, and brutally honest. Her humor is dark, and she has a sharp wit, often mocking the hypocrisies of her friend Yura’s carefully curated art world. In many ways, Sesi embodies everything Yura aspires to be: unapologetically authentic.
