Indie Casting Call for "Feminist Fairytales" Audio Drama Podcast
The upcoming "Feminist Fairytales" audio drama podcast is looking for collaborative voice-over artists. See more details below. About the project: Geared toward an adult audience, but suitable for ages 13 and up, this indie fictional scripted audio drama reimagines the genre of fairytales through a feminist lens. Values such as equity, caring and collaboration are modeled through a variety of magical worlds. Each month features a new story written by a new author and released bi-weekly in two 30-40 minute acts. Special Episodes are released in one 30- 40 min act. Each season features a wide variety of writers, sound editors, and voice actors. In our third season, “Tales Twisted,” scripts feature two or more traditional fairytales blended together to create something new. Hosted on the REALM network, Feminist Fairytales has been featured on the BBC Podcast Radio Hour, and nominated for an International Women’s Podcast Award. (Vocal Inspiration: Patrick Page) JAGIR: (He/Him) The Cloth Dyer, whose overall personality we do not learn, but who dangerously reigns power over the forest animals.
