Casting Actors for a Workshop Scene
Two female actresses wanted for a scene from the movie Eileen which will be recorded and shared with other directing workshop student directors, all of whom will be directing, casting, or producing films on an ongoing basis for the next few years.. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: Unpaid. You will be provided with a link to the final edited scene. Additional info: Approx. 3 rehearsals between the casting and February 26th. In-class performance from 2-5 pm on February 27th Filming of the scene will occur between March 23rd and 30th, depending on the flexibility of both actors’ schedules. Note: Please do not review the movie before the auditions, Directors would like to see your interpretation of the scene. When applying, please send a headshot or clear photo and resume.

Eileen is a young and docile secretary at a men’s prison with a looming curiosity. She’s great at stifling her awkwardness (or so she thinks).
Rebecca is a rigid and experienced counselor at a men’s prison. She’s suave, methodic, and seems to know more than she lets on.
