Rate: LOA Mid-Size Agreement- Rehearsals-$897.29/wk LOA LORT-Performances- $34.34/hr & 171.68/performance (with a minimum 4 performance/2 hour per week guarantee after the first performance week) Additional info: Seeking women over 40 of all shapes and sizes. Must have the ability to harmonize and sell a musical number. Must be comfortable with musical theatre style stage and dance and have good comedic timing. These are four women who met at Bloomingdales a few years prior and bonded over their menopause symptoms. Five years later they have decided to take a girls trip together to reconnect. First rehearsal: August 22, 2025 Tech: September 8, 2025 Opening: September 14, 2025 Closes: October 5, 2025 *Tour will include stops in Canada, must have valid passport & clean criminal record to be granted entry by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Rehearsal location TBD (travel, accommodation, and per diem provided to actors not local to rehearsal area). She is in a position of power in her career, which she forged as a single mother, and now grandmother; a control freak who’s losing control due to “the change,” and has little patience with the havoc it is reeking on her life. Happy to be out of the office and away with her favorite girlfriends. Trans actors welcome.
(Female Identifying, Soprano with a strong belt to B- Lyric soprano to E) Attractive, well preserved, and spicy. She is passed the ingenue that she has played on a popular soap opera and is still struggling to come to grips with aging. She is doing so unsuccessfully, because of how it affects her livelihood, as well as her life. As with all things though, she will find a way to win. (Basic knowledge of tap dance is a plus) Trans actors welcome.
(Female Identifying, Strong chest voice to C) Vegan, wear Birkenstocks and socks; an herbalist who sells crystals and follows astrology, but is struggling with the lesser efforts of her life-partner of 29 years. Trans actors welcome.
(Female Identifying, Low chest voice, innocent tone, with belt to E) Not quite in shape, though her clothes make her look frumpier than she really is. (i.e. no sense of style) She has naïve wisdom. She is grieving the loss of her husband of 30 years. Trying to make a fresh start while still holding on to the past. Trans actors welcome.
