Choice: Student Short (Indie)
18-year-old aspiring filmmaker, and I was honored to be selected for the Reel Works Narrative Lab here in New York. As part of the program, I am required to create a thesis film, and I’m thrilled to share this casting call for three roles. If you or someone you know is interested, I’d greatly appreciate your application. Synopsis: A heartfelt indie short about a teenage girl and boy who fall in love, despite the girl’s father restricting her from pursuing her own path. This coming-of-age story explores love, family dynamics, and the struggle to break free from imposed limits.

A charming, optimistic teenage boy who has a natural way of bringing light and confidence into Ashley’s life. He’s bold, supportive, and determined to help Ashley follow her heart.
A strict, traditional father who loves his daughter but struggles with letting her grow into her own person. He has a strong presence and is deeply protective of Ashley.
