Talent Wanted for Upcoming Movie

Mr. Byrd is a long-term teacher at DIY. Academy who has seen and heard it all before. He is very blunt in his approach and hates it when students cheat to get ahead... especially the dumb ones.

Orlando’s mom is very strict and very high strung. She has managed to raise a good little boy so far, but is completely unprepared to deal with a teenage boy with raging hormones.

Nathan’s mom is a very protective and loving mother who encourages her son to be all that he can be in life. She is also very delusional about her son’s academic prowess.

The Principal is very stern and short tempered... in theory. He runs as tight a ship aspossible, but he’s also worn down by years of Principal-ing. At this point in his career he’d rather not get involved if he can help it.

The News Reporter is a young millennial with a lot of opinions. He’s not afraid to express them no matter who may like it or not. This often leads to some biased journalism... for better or worse.

The Chief of Police is a very high ranking member of the community who thinks highly of himself and has raised his son to take full advantage of their social status. He is tougher on crime than he is his son, whom he sees as perfect and is completely oblivious to the fact that he is raising the same criminal element he proudly hunts and punishes on a daily basis.

Mr. Palmer is a pissed off teacher who has lost all semblance of professionalism after being attacked by a student while everyone else just recorded and watched. He is willing to put his hands on the student after realizing no one was going to punish him even after video evidence of his attack has gone viral.

Judge Harris is a man who can not be persuaded to look past wrongdoings, but he can be bought to do that exact thing. He has no problem being open about his corruption to those who can’t do anything about it anyway.

The Bailiff is a big man who doesn’t speak but is very expressive.

Mr. Lennon is a long tenured teacher at DIY Academy and is clearly not a fan of Diangelo Hardison. He is very adamant that the boy should be kicked out of school for his crimes and feels very confident about his chances of getting him expelled from the school.

Mrs. Hardison is Diangelo’s mom and is raising her son to not fear consequences. She is a woman of means and sees no issues with her parenting style because she has a habit of being able to pay her problems away whenever possible (which is often).
