Theatre Casting Call for "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner"
"Guess Who's Coming To Dinner" play casting actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See more info below. Additional info: Auditioners should prepare a short, 1 minute monologue of their choice. It does not need to be memorized, but the auditioner should be familiar enough with it that they aren't staring at the paper. There will also be cold readings from the script. Rehearsals take place on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 pm to 9 pm. They begin Monday, March 3, 2025. TECH REHEARSALS AND SHOWS DATES ARE MANDATORY. Tech rehearsals are April 21-24 and are mandatory rehearsals. Show dates are April 25, 26, May 2 at 7:30 pm and April 27, May 3 and May 4 at 2 pm. If you are interested, please apply.

Successful business woman who runs the Drayton Gallery and is Joanna’s mom. She is surprised and somewhat shocked when she meets her daughter’s fiancé but ultimately is supportive.
Publisher of San Francisco newspaper and Joey’s father. Considers himself a progressive liberal but has difficulty accepting his daughter’s fiancé.
Joanna is hoping to get her parents blessing when she introduces them to her fiancé, Dr. Prentice, but is resolved to marry him regardless of her parent’s concerns.
An accomplished and well-respected medical doctor who has come to the Drayton’s home to ask Joanna’s parents for their blessing to marry their daughter. He is a passionate man who has found meaning out of a great tragedy in his life.
Longtime family friend and Matt’s golfing buddy.
A school teacher by trade and Dr. Prentices’ father. He is having difficulty accepting his son’s decision to marry Joanna.
