Today Only! Open Roles in “Touch Grass” Film
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Seeking actors to play roles in production of “Touch Grass”. More detaiils are below. About the project: Two teenage boys lock their phones in a box and go on a quest to touch grass to avoid their problems. This almost works until they find themselves at a wild party where they're forced to face their intimidating crushes and doom scrolling addictions. Rate: Volunteer - will provide meals and a copy of the finished film. Accepting union and non-union applicants. Additional information: Filming Feb. 8th, 9th, and 10th. MUST be available for rehearsals leading up to shoot dates. Submission deadline: January 13th 8:00am. When applying, please submit your preferred role, head shot, and demo reel/resume.

LEAD ROLE. Your average, lovable, doom scrolling nerd, obsessed with movies/video games. Has a major crush on Lila, but gets painfully awkward around girls.
SECONDARY LEAD. Sam's slightly cocky best friend. Works on his gains to hide his insecurities and tries to cover his commitment issues by serial-using dating apps.
SUPPORTING ROLE. A stunning, intimidating, shallow TikTok influencer, mostly makes grwm videos. Sam's crush and Amy's friend.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Sweet, artsy, and down to earth, Caroline rocks a flip phone and a secret nerdy side.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Aaron's uber-cool older sister who throws the house party.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Confident and knows her worth, she is fed up with situationships (and Aaron).
