About the project: Logline: Can a young, high school, basketball star be swayed by his brother to chase his dreams of playing college basketball after sustaining what he thought was a career-ending injury? Tyrek was a basketball star but due to their father not being present in their lives, Tyrek felt like he had to give up on his dream and assume the provider role. Joined a gang to get fast money to help his family out of poverty.
Coach Cal used to be a professional coach but chose to come down to coach high school in hopes to better impacting young men. Particularly with Tyrek and Rashad. He has assumed a mentor role for them both in his time of coaching them.
Todd grew up in the neighborhood with Tyrek & Rashad. Tyrek and him always bumped heads. Jermaine who is the leader of the gang sent him to kill Tyrek for quitting.
