About the project: The award-winning Fiddler on the Roof tells the timeless story of Tevye the dairyman and his family’s struggles in a changing Russia. A Broadway classic, it debuted in 1964, winning nine Tony Awards. Set in the village of Anatevka, the musical follows Tevye, a poor milkman, as he navigates tradition, change, while raising his five daughters. With its humor, warmth, and universal themes, Fiddler on the Roof continues to touch audiences worldwide. Additional info: Be prepared with a musical theater song 1 minute in length that showcases your voice. Please have ready the link to your own backing track. Most songs can be found as a karaoke track on YouTube. Rehearsals: Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:30 to 8:30 with the possibility of the occasional Saturday morning.
