Singing Audition for Production of "Heathers!"

The company is holding auditions for production, "Heathers!" and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Heathers The Musical is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously sexy new kid, J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized butt… but J.D. has another plan for that bullet. Rate: This is a non-equity, volunteer community theater production. There is no pay. Additional info: Show Dates: April 11th-27th Friday and Saturday performances at 7:30 pm Sunday performances at 2 pm Callbacks by invitation Wednesday, February 12th, 7-10 pm For auditions, please bring your headshot, resume, and sheet music for provided accompanist. You will need to sing a 16-32 bar cut of a musical song in the style of the show. Rehearsals begin Saturday, February 15th, and will take place Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturdays. Not everyone will be called to every rehearsal. Availability is required for tech week, April 5th-10th. Please apply if interested.
