About the project: A young, queer individual talks to their friends about their struggles at home and how they found the courage to come out to their mom. Rate: Non-union. Volunteer/not paid. Additiona information: Location: GTA. Dates: February 6-7. Submission deadline: January 12. When applying, please submit head shots, acting resume & demo reel.

LEAD ROLE. Gender diverse/trans-masculine/Gender non- conforming. A sharp and introspective teen navigating the complexities of their gender identity. Around friends, Spencer radiates confidence and self-expression, using humor and wit as part of their vibrant personality.
LEAD ROLE. A caring and well-meaning parent who deeply loves her child but struggles to bridge the gap in their relationship. Though sometimes unaware of the disconnect, she is not intentionally hurtful and genuinely wants what's best for Spencer. She is slightly out of touch but is determined to be a part of her child's life, and will do whatever it takes to do so
SUPPORTING ROLE. Non-binary. An eccentric and bubbly friend who brings energy and warmth to any room. Fiercely loyal, Becca is always there for her friends, offering. unwavering support with her bright personality and infectious enthusiasm.
SUPPORTING ROLE. Non-binary. A loyal and perceptive friend with a knack for knowing exactly what to say. While his wit and light-hearted humour keep things fun, Ben is capable of offering genuine support when it matters most.
