Acting Audition in a Short Film "Pining"

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast to play roles in an original short narrative student film "Pining". More details are below. About the project: Set in the backwoods of British Columbia at the dawn of the dating app era, the film follows SAGE (20s), an amateur botanist and the only female tree planter on her crew, as she redefines the meaning of preservation - in love, in work, and in life. Her visceral connection to an abandoned cutblock paired with her distorted understanding of romance motivate her misguided actions and satisfy her wild heart. At its core, this psychological thriller is a poetic love story between a woman and the company she keeps. Additional information: Video & in-person auditions accepted. Rehearsals start in late January 2025. Filming mid February & early March.
