About the project: Logline: When an orderly mortician is forced to bring his recently suspended young daughter with raging ADHD to the morgue, they must work together to ensure that the resulting chaos does not see the light of day. (Lead). Bernard is a mortician who lives for order and professionalism, yet finds his carefully constructed world constantly upended by his chaotic and curious daughter, Cookie. Despite his exasperation, Bernard has a deeply caring side, and his journey involves learning to better understand and embrace Cookie’s disorder and unique perspective on the world.
(Supporting). Igor is Bernard’s boss at the morgue—a harsh and rickety Scrooge with no patience for nonsense and less compassion for others. Igor demonstrates a lack of morals and is quick to blame others for his mistakes.
