Theater Audition in Upcoming Plays

A woman at a crossroads in life. Sharon had to put her dreams of art school aside in order to care for her younger sister Melody. She is kind, but is a bit naive and lacks some self-confidence. She has regular appointments with her therapist Dr. K. She would like to study art history but does not have the money or means to do so. With Dr. K’s urging, Sharon decides to put herself first.

Sharon’s partner. Kate works a steady but uninspiring job in payroll for a small company. She dresses modestly and comes across as rigid, uptight and controlling, but her exterior persona is just a defence mechanism. Loves Sharon, but has trouble expressing it. Tolerates Melody because she knows that her and Sharon are a package. Never got a chance to pursue a higher education and would like to do so before it’s too late. Meet’s Dr. K at one of Sharon’s family sessions.

Age unknown. Dr. K is Sharon’s mysterious therapist and would-be confidant. Sharon’s life slowly unravels in his office and he does his best to keep it together, but is ultimately left to pick up the pieces. He has a sinister and mysterious undertone that is never fully understood. Gets Sharon to understand - or at least acknowledge - the truth about herself. Dr. K also has a connection to Melody’s new friend Manny.
