ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. The company is seeking newcomers in the Greater Toronto area for a Meaningful Cibc commercial. See the details below. About the project: Are you a newcomer to Canada within the past 5 years? Do you want to share your story? If so, we want to hear from you! We are specifically interested in hearing from people who emigrated from India, China, The Philippines and Nigeria, but we are open to people who came from any country outside North America. You do not need to currently be a CIBC customer in order to be considered. Rate: If booked, you will each receive $1000 for one day of filming. If your likeness is in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $1500 for its use. Children and those without dialogue will receive an additional $750. Additional info: - This is a NON-UNION project. No acting experience is required, however, you should be outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed. - We are NOT accepting submissions from international students. - To apply, you MUST be legally eligible to work in Canada. - To participate, you MUST be able to film in Toronto. - To participate, you MUST be willing to open a CIBC account if you do not currently bank with CIBC. - If shortlisted, you MUST be available for a brief interview with the director on Jan 16th, 17th or 20th. - If selected, you MUST be available for filming the week of Feb 10th or 17th.
