ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Seeking cast to play roles in a short film "Take a Shoot". More details are below. About the project: Take a shot is a serious melodrama that is disguised with comedic elements. Andrew brings Ethan, a returning army veteran, to a surprise party which Andrew has prepared. As elements of the party affect Ethan's mental state, Andrew naively fries keeping the party together to create a fun night for his broken friend, only to realize that he needs to allow him to heal. Rate: Non-Union, no monetary compensation will be available for the roles. Meals, snacks and water will be provided. Additional information: Filming location: TBD, East Van. Lead. A young, reclusive, and stoic army veteran who is struggling to find mental clarity whilst wanting to, but is unable to, reconnect with his peers. Once Ethan is past his breaking point, he shows a true heavy sorrow.
