Production of "Anything Goes" play seeks talent. Review the details provided below. About the project: ANYTHING GOES: A hilarious shipboard romp wrapped in one of Cole Porter’s most magical scores. It’s delightful, delicious, and de-lovely! Music, dance, laughs and the age-old tale of boy meets girl… This new version of Anything Goes features a revised script, updated in light of contemporary sensibilities ,and includes the hits “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” “Friendship,” “It’s De-Lovely” and the title song, along with “Easy to Love,” “Goodbye, Little Dream, Goodbye” and “Buddie, Beware.” Additional info: Those auditioning should prepare a brief song in the style of the show. Be prepared to learn a brief dance combination – bring appropriate footwear. You MAY be asked to read at the initial auditions as well. Rehearsals will generally be held Monday through Thursday evenings, 7 pm to 10 pm, beginning Monday, February 10, 2025. Tech week begins Saturday, March 29 with our sitzprobe (likely 10 am to 2 pm). Tech Sunday is March 30, from 2 pm to no later than 11 pm. Dress rehearsals with orchestra will be held March 31 through April 3 with opening night on April 4.
