Billy is a part of an Indigenous family. He is the relaxed and carefree nephew of his Uncle Lyle. He believes in his uncle's ability to show up for him.
Kim is a part of an Indigenous family. She's the some-nonsense, respected mother of Billy, who wants to provide the best she can for her son.
Officer Robert is an inexperienced, by the book police officer, and is the barrier between Uncle Lyle getting to Billy.
The bartender is a hardworking Indigenous man, and isn't afraid to put his foot down with customers in his bar.
