About the project: In a dim bar, Naoko's heart is a shell of itself, haunted by the addictive push-pull of her current relationship. Her partner, Amadeo, walks in like a ghost. He plays a song after song on the bar’s old jukebox. With every note, she finds herself deeper in the painful recollections of loving someone who is incapable of reciprocating her feelings. Those Days is a surreal-romantic short film set in 90's melancholia. Its pacing is driven more-so by music, style and chemistry than heavy dialogue or strict narrative form. This project draws heavily from the works of Hong-Kong director Wong Kar-Wai, namely the cult classic Fallen Angels (1995). Rate: Non-Union. Food (lunch & snacks), IMDB Credit, Demo Reel Footage.
