A bit of a drama, a bit of telenova vibes about about Isabella's ballet journey of resilience, showcasing her transformation from a self-doubting girl to a confident young woman who finds her voice and fights for her dreams. She comes from humble beginnings, and her skill/determination has led her to an opportunity as an elite ballet school... The only problem is it's the same school her evil ballet teacher's daughter is also trying out for. The two will stop at nothing to diminish Isabella's spark. Rate: Non union. Paid (Please see the rates in the character desciptions). Additional information: Experience dancers are highly encouraged to submit. FILMING: January 7, 2024. LOCATION: St. Catharines, Ontario. $500/day. Dance/ballet experience is a MUST. Isabella has a short 30 second dance we must film (so please mention if you have a routine we can film). She’s our hero, she initially lacks confidence but possesses an underlying strength and sense of justice. Her journey is about discovering her self-worth and using her pain as fuel to achieve her goals.
$300/day. Dance/ballet experience is a MUST. A complex character who embodies privilege and entitlement. While initially dismissive and cruel towards Isabella, she ultimately displays a level of respect for her talent and determination by the very end of it.
$300/day. She is Isabella’s mom. A pillar of support and the voice of reason. Her unwavering belief in Isabella's potential provides the emotional anchor for the story. She is in a wheelchair.
$300/day. Dance/ballet background is a plus. Colette’s mom & Isabella’s power-hungry ballet teacher. She’s the antagonist, whose harsh methods and manipulative behavior create the primary conflict. Her actions serve as a catalyst for Isabella's growth and resilience.
