Synopsis: The stage production of Amadeus by Peter Shaffer is set in 18th-century Vienna; the play recounts the tumultuous rivalry between Antonio Salieri, the court composer, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a prodigious and irreverent young musician. Once devoted to God, Salieri is tormented by the realization that Mozart's genius is a divine gift that far surpasses his carefully cultivated talent. Through Salieri's confessions to the audience, the play weaves a narrative of betrayal, ambition, and moral struggle, culminating in Salieri's descent into bitterness as he vows to destroy Mozart while grappling with his own unfulfilled desires. Rich with dramatic intensity and underscored by the sublime music of Mozart, Amadeus offers a profound reflection on human frailty and artistic immortality. 2. "Hairspray" July 18–August 17, 2025 Synopsis: Hairspray is a high-energy Broadway musical set in 1960s Baltimore, following the story of Tracy Turnblad, a spirited teenager with big hair and even bigger dreams. Tracy's life takes an exciting turn when she lands a spot on the popular Corny Collins Show, a local TV dance program. As she dances her way to fame, Tracy uses her newfound platform to advocate for racial integration on the show, challenging societal norms and prejudice. With the help of her eccentric yet loving mother, Edna, her friends, Penny and Seaweed, her crush, Link, and a cast of diverse characters, Tracy proves that change is possible when everyone comes together. Hairspray is a joyful celebration of individuality and standing up for what's right, packed with catchy songs, dazzling choreography, and a heartfelt message about acceptance and equality. Rate: All show positions are paid. Additional info: Audition Requirements: Amadeus For consideration, please prepare a one-minute monologue (classical or contemporary). If you are auditioning for a musical role, please submit a video of a classical piece (aria preferred). You must have your monologue memorized at auditions. Audition Requirements: Hairspray For consideration, please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Contemporary musical theatre pieces are preferred, and singing from the show is allowed and even encouraged. A pianist will be available at auditions. You will only have a minute to talk with the pianist about your tempo and cut. The sheet music must be clean, legible, and with a clearly marked cut for the pianist. Sheet music should be in a three-ring binder to ensure smooth page turns. You must have your song memorized at auditions. If interested, please apply.

She is deeply in love with her husband but also struggles with the burdens of their financial and emotional realities. Intimacy Requirements: Kisses Mozart in various ways, engages in playful and affectionate physical contact. Interactions with Salieri include suggestive moments such as kissing and hand-to-body contact.
"Amadeus" Movement/Abilities: Any but familiarity with dance or lyrical movement is a plus Line Load: Moderate Character Description: The Venticelli are the gossipmongers of the story, offering rapid-fire, overlapping dialogue as they move through the world, sharing secrets and rumors. Their presence is constant as they fuel the drama and intrigue of the plot. Intimacy Requirements: Involved in suggestive physical contact with Constanze, such as lifting her skirt and touching her legs.
